Answering a Life group question.

Do you have three people in your life that you can trust to speak the truth about your life?

This was a question that was included in the study notes for this week’s life group meeting. It’s a question that I am still thinking about. My automatic answer would be No. The reason that my answer is no isn’t because I think my family is bad, it’s because my family is the group.of people that is around me the majority of the time and in some cases when the same people are always around you, you tend to grow numb to their opinions, especially in the scenarios where you did not ask for an opinion.

It’s for this reason that I believe that everyone needs a trusted group of friends outside their immediate circle, simply because it’s easier to process what has been said because you don’t have to go home with them.

Having someone speak the truth in your life is a tough pill to swallow so it’s important that you trust them to give you sound advice.

There have been a few times in my life where I can honestly the truth was delivered a lot sweeter and it was easier to process even though it had to do with an issue that my parents were concerned about.

The serious Issue:

I didn’t walk away from a painful relationship until my pastor’s wife and my best friend from church told me that I wasn’t acting like the woman God meant for me to be and that I needed to walk away.

The minor situation

I didn’t start paying attention to the way that I carry myself until

Amy Landino

Rachel Walker

And a few other women walked into my life via YouTube

So to the loved ones of people that may need to hear the truth, here. Is a dose of truth for you.

Not all Truth is yours to speak, so step back and take a breath it’s going to be ok
