In the summer of 2022 the ladies who attended @rollettesexperience had the honor of meeting Judy Heumann. I think I have license to say that ,that was one of the greatest honors given to anyone in that room.
Last year at a conference I attended someone said that movements don’t have mothers or fathers,I respectfully disagree, because, Judy took on the role of a mom with her encouragement to all of us. She took the time to speak to all of us individually and find out what we were passionate about. She even called her friends and had them speak to some of the women who voiced their dreams and felt like they didn’t know what to do. Judy, thank you for your love, encouragement, kindness, and passion. We love you.
