Me at @wicked_musical in 2008. Oh my, Oz! Fiyero hugged me! The 20-something-year-old girl in this picture was living a NessaRose existence.  I wanted to do everything I could to be *Normal ” and I thought normal meant walking.  I also know what Elphaba felt like, because, unfortunately, those of us who are different are often asked to have unwanted personal conversations that you would never ask a normal-looking person on the street.
