This is what the last day of being 37 looks like as you can tell by that sentence alone , I’m not a woman who believes in hiding her age. I was expecting to have more of a struggle in this life then I have had. I’m blessed to be where I am.in life right now. I’m blessed because God gave me a voice to use for singing and speaking. He gave me two legs that work, they work slower than average but they work.
I’m thankful for my eyes because.they are able to see the faces of people I Love. I’m grateful for my ears because they can appreciate beautiful music and I’m.grateful for my arms and hands because they can hug the people I love. I’m grateful for life all around#Zimmerpeeps

I believe Jesus dIed on the Cross for me.
The message of the cross is foolish to those who are headed for destruction! But we who are being saved know it is the very power of God.

Jesus Secures My Eternity When…
I believe He Died On The Cross For Me.
“The message of the cross is foolish to those who are headed for destruction! But we who are being saved know it is the very power of God.”—1 Corinthians 1:18
Iturn From My Sin And Turn Toward Jesus
“Two men went to the Temple to pray. One was a Pharisee, and the other was a despised tax collector. The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed this prayer: ‘I thank you, God, that I am not like other people—cheaters, sinners, adulterers. I’m certainly not like that tax collector! I fast twice a week, and I give you a tenth of my income.’ But the tax collector stood at a distance and dared not even lift his eyes to heaven as he prayed. Instead, he beat his chest in sorrow, saying, ‘O God, be merciful to me, for I am a sinner.’ I tell you, this sinner, not the Pharisee, returned home justified before God. For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.”—Luke 18:10
I accept him as my savior and Lord
But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God.”
—John 1:12
Memory Verse
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
—John 3:16
I trust Jess for my Eternity
Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me. There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am. And you know the way to where I am going. ‘No, we don’t know, Lord,’ Thomas said. ‘We have no idea where you are going, so how can we know the way?’ Jesus told him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.’”
John 14:1-6
There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.”
—Acts 4:12
God appeared to Abram and said, “I will give this land to your children.” Abram built an altar at the place God had appeared to him. He moved on from there to the hill country east of Bethel and pitched his tent between Bethel to the west and Ai to the east. He built an altar there and prayed to God . Abram kept moving, steadily making his way south, to the Negev. Then a famine came to the land. Abram went down to Egypt to live; it was a hard famine. As he drew near to Egypt, he said to his wife, Sarai, “Look. We both know that you’re a beautiful woman. When the Egyptians see you they’re going to say, ‘Aha! That’s his wife!’ and kill me. But they’ll let you live. Do me a favor: tell them you’re my sister. Because of you, they’ll welcome me and let me live.” When Abram arrived in Egypt, the Egyptians took one look and saw that his wife was stunningly beautiful. Pharaoh’s princes raved over her to Pharaoh. She was taken to live with Pharaoh. Because of her, Abram got along very well: he accumulated sheep and cattle, male and female donkeys, men and women servants, and camels. But God hit Pharaoh hard because of Abram’s wife Sarai; everybody in the palace got seriously sick. Pharaoh called for Abram, “What’s this that you’ve done to me? Why didn’t you tell me that she’s your wife? Why did you say, ‘She’s my sister’ so that I’d take her as my wife? Here’s your wife back—take her and get out!” Pharaoh ordered his men to get Abram out of the country. They sent him and his wife and everything he owned on their way.
Gen 12:7-20
If my circumstances change it doesn’t mean that I should change
Faith gives way to Fear when we
live by human reasoning
Forgot the unconditional promises of God because we fear men we get into trouble.
Make descions that are ungodly
When we are willing to cause others pain in order to protect ourselves.
When we forget that God is our provider and protector
When my faith gives way to Fear I’m gonna make a mess of things
What should we do?
Trust God because he wants to teach us something be obedient.

Memory Verse
(Jesus) “You can enter God’s Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way. But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it.”

Matthew 7:13-14
Jesus Directs My Path When I…
1. Seek His Direction for every Decision
.
“Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.”
Proverbs 3:5-6
Study The Bible to know what is true and Do what The Bible says
Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path.”—
Psalm 119:
Surround yourself with His People for Godly advice
As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend.”—
Proverbs 27:17
Fools think their own way is right, but the wise listen to others.”
—Proverbs 12:15
Submit to Jesus as Lord
(Jesus) “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.
John 14:6
Not everyone who calls out to me, ‘Lord! Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my Father in heaven will enter.”
—Matthew 7:21
While he was trying to figure a way out, he had a dream. God’s angel spoke in the dream: “Joseph, son of David, don’t hesitate to get married. Mary’s pregnancy is Spirit-conceived. God’s Holy Spirit has made her pregnant. She will bring a son to birth, and when she does, you, Joseph, will name him Jesus—‘God saves’—because he will save his people from their sins.” This would bring the prophet’s embryonic sermon to full term: Watch for this—a virgin will get pregnant and bear a son; They will name him Immanuel (Hebrew for “God is with us”).
Matthew 1:20-23
Mary
She was thoroughly shaken, wondering what was behind a greeting like that. But the angel assured her, “Mary, you have nothing to fear. God has a surprise for you: You will become pregnant and give birth to a son and call his name Jesus. He will be great, be called ‘Son of the Highest.’ The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David; He will rule Jacob’s house forever— no end, ever, to his kingdom.” Mary said to the angel, “But how? I’ve never slept with a man.” The angel answered, The Holy Spirit will come upon you, the power of the Highest hover over you; Therefore, the child you bring to birth will be called Holy, Son of God. “And did you know that your cousin Elizabeth conceived a son, old as she is? Everyone called her barren, and here she is six months pregnant! Nothing, you see, is impossible with God.” And Mary said, Yes, I see it all now: I’m the Lord’s maid, ready to serve. Let it be with me just as you say. Then the angel left her.
Luke 1:29-38
What did it mean that God was with Mary?
It meant that she could face what looked like an impossible situation knowing that nothing is impossible with God.
Joseph
What did it mean that God was with Joseph?
The birth of Jesus took place like this. His mother, Mary, was engaged to be married to Joseph. Before they came to the marriage bed, Joseph discovered she was pregnant. (It was by the Holy Spirit, but he didn’t know that.) Joseph, chagrined but noble, determined to take care of things quietly so Mary would not be disgraced. Then Joseph woke up. He did exactly what God’s angel commanded in the dream: He married Mary. But he did not consummate the marriage until she had the baby. He named the baby Jesus.
Matthew 1:18-25
It meant that he could face the future with confidence even though the future looked different than Joseph had planned
The Shepherds
There were sheepherders camping in the neighborhood. They had set night watches over their sheep. Suddenly, God’s angel stood among them and God’s glory blazed around them. They were terrified. The angel said, “Don’t be afraid. I’m here to announce a great and joyful event that is meant for everybody, worldwide: A Savior has just been born in David’s town, a Savior who is Messiah and Master. This is what you’re to look for: a baby wrapped in a blanket and lying in a manger.” At once the angel was joined by a huge angelic choir singing God’s praises: Glory to God in the heavenly heights, Peace to all men and women on earth who please him
Luke 2:8-14
What does it mean that God was with the Shepherds?
It means that God cares for those who are often overlooked or considered unimportant
Wise Men
After Jesus was born in Bethlehem village, Judah territory—this was during Herod’s kingship—a band of scholars arrived in Jerusalem from the East. They asked around, “Where can we find and pay homage to the newborn King of the Jews? We observed a star in the eastern sky that signaled his birth. We’re on pilgrimage to worship him.” When word of their inquiry got to Herod, he was terrified—and not Herod alone, but most of Jerusalem as well. Herod lost no time. He gathered all the high priests and religion scholars in the city together and asked, “Where is the Messiah supposed to be born?” They told him, “Bethlehem, Judah territory. The prophet Micah wrote it plainly: It’s you, Bethlehem, in Judah’s land, no longer bringing up the rear. From you will come the leader who will shepherd-rule my people, my Israel.” Herod then arranged a secret meeting with the scholars from the East. Pretending to be as devout as they were, he got them to tell him exactly when the birth-announcement star appeared. Then he told them the prophecy about Bethlehem, and said, “Go find this child. Leave no stone unturned. As soon as you find him, send word and I’ll join you at once in your worship.” Instructed by the king, they set off. Then the star appeared again, the same star they had seen in the eastern skies. It led them on until it hovered over the place of the child. They could hardly contain themselves: They were in the right place! They had arrived at the right time! They entered the house and saw the child in the arms of Mary, his mother. Overcome, they kneeled and worshiped him. Then they opened their luggage and presented gifts: gold, frankincense, myrrh. In a dream, they were warned not to report back to Herod. So they worked out another route, left the territory without being seen, and returned to their own country.
Matthew 2:1-12
What does it mean that God was with the wise Men?
It means that God can be relied on for guidance and direction.
When the eighth day arrived, the day of circumcision, the child was named Jesus, the name given by the angel before he was conceived. Then when the days stipulated by Moses for purification were complete, they took him up to Jerusalem to offer him to God as commanded in God’s Law: “Every male who opens the womb shall be a holy offering to God,” and also to sacrifice the “pair of doves or two young pigeons” prescribed in God’s Law. In Jerusalem at the time, there was a man, Simeon by name, a good man, a man who lived in the prayerful expectancy of help for Israel. And the Holy Spirit was on him. The Holy Spirit had shown him that he would see the Messiah of God before he died. Led by the Spirit, he entered the Temple. As the parents of the child Jesus brought him in to carry out the rituals of the Law, Simeon took him into his arms and blessed God: God, you can now release your servant; release me in peace as you promised. With my own eyes I’ve seen your salvation; it’s now out in the open for everyone to see: A God-revealing light to the non-Jewish nations, and of glory for your people Israel. Jesus’ father and mother were speechless with surprise at these words. Simeon went on to bless them, and said to Mary his mother, This child marks both the failure and the recovery of many in Israel, A figure misunderstood and contradicted— the pain of a sword-thrust through you— But the rejection will force honesty, as God reveals who they really are. Anna the prophetess was also there, a daughter of Phanuel from the tribe of Asher. She was by now a very old woman. She had been married seven years and a widow for eighty-four. She never left the Temple area, worshiping night and day with her fastings and prayers. At the very time Simeon was praying, she showed up, broke into an anthem of praise to God, and talked about the child to all who were waiting expectantly for the freeing of Jerusalem. When they finished everything required by God in the Law, they returned to Galilee and their own town, Nazareth. There the child grew strong in body and wise in spirit. And the grace of God was on him.
Luke 2:21-40
Anna and Simeon
What did it mean that God was with Anna and Simeon?
It means that they did not need to fear death
Final thoughts
You may not have room for God but he has room for you.
He told his next story to some who were complacently pleased with themselves over their moral performance and looked down their noses at the common people: “Two men went up to the Temple to pray, one a Pharisee, the other a tax man. The Pharisee posed and prayed like this: ‘Oh, God, I thank you that I am not like other people—robbers, crooks, adulterers, or, heaven forbid, like this tax man. I fast twice a week and tithe on all my income.’ “Meanwhile the tax man, slumped in the shadows, his face in his hands, not daring to look up, said, ‘God, give mercy. Forgive me, a sinner.’” Jesus commented, “This tax man, not the other, went home made right with God. If you walk around with your nose in the air, you’re going to end up flat on your face, but if you’re content to be simply yourself, you will become more than yourself.”
Luke 18.9-14
If you’re Gonna Blow a Horn Blow a Trumpet for God
- When we are full of ourselves there is no room.for God.
- When we empty ourselves we’re in the perfect position to be filled with God’s Grace
- Pride is about my Glory Humility is about God’s Glory
The point of the Story:
To get what the tax collector got we’ve got to come to God the way the tax collector came.
- He came to God humbly
- He came to God helpless
- He came to God
Memory Verse
Jesus commented, “This tax man, not the other, went home made right with God. If you walk around with your nose in the air, you’re going to end up flat on your face, but if you’re content to be simply yourself, you will become more than yourself.”
Luke 18:14
When Do I need Patience?
- When circumstances are unchangeable
Consider the farmers who patiently wait for the rains in the fall and in the spring.
James 5:7b
- When people are unchangeable
For examples of patience in suffering dear brothers and sisters, look at the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord
James 5:10
- When problems are unexplainable
You know about Job, a man of great endurance.
How can I Develop Patience?
Remember nobody is perfect.
Don’t grumble about each other brothers and sisters, or you will be judged
James 5:9a
Remember God is working while I wait.
You know about Job, a man of Great Endurance. You can see how the Lord was kind to him at the end.
Job 5:11b
Remember how patient God has been with me.
Don’t you see how wonderfully kind, tolerant and patient God is with you? Does it mean nothing to you? Can’t you see that his kindness is intended to turn you Away from sin.
Romans 2:4
Memory Verse
Be patient with each other, making allowence for each other’s faults because of your love.
Ephisians 4:2
1. From Orphens to Beloved children
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will.”
Ephesians 1:3-5
2. From blindness to sight
I don’t know whether he is a sinner,’ the man replied. ‘But I know this: I was blind, and now I can see!’”
John 9:25
What Does it mean to have spriritual sight
- We see ourselves the way God sees us
- We see others the way God sees them
- We see things from God’s perspective
3. From what we used to be to what we will be
Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.”
1 John 3:2
Then Peter said, ‘Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.’”
Acts 3:6
When all the people saw him walking and praising God, they recognized him as the same man who used to sit begging at the temple gate called Beautiful, and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.”
Acts 3:9-10
Memory Verse
“So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.
Colossians 2:6-7
I just finished watching Frozen 2. It was awesome. I noticed a lot of things that were used in the musical. My favorite thing about Elsa was that at the end she was a ” Badass in Pants ” and if you’ve seen the musical you would recognize Elsa’s last outfit as the Monster outfit. That’s my favorite costume in the musical
