Resharing a video from Saturday
@marissa_edob is exactly the representation that we need in the role of Nessarose. She communicates the standards that we have for ourselves and knowing you are being properly represented helps you feel like you can take on the world.
Thank you Marissa

Things and people that I’m grateful for:
My Mom and dad
My brother
My sister in law
My cousin @oceannlee
And her family
The ability to move, dance and speak
All of my sisters that I’ve met in the disabled community
Question to my sisters with Cerebral Palsy, if someone saw you and said you’re Green how would you respond? We all have times where we encounter unwanted questions and choose not to respond or we respond with what we feel in the day or maybe even the moment what would you do?
My response if I was having a bad day would be to tell the person that I don’t want to have that conversation. If it was a good day, I would say , I am, it’s not the most important thing about me on its own but it has become a powerful part of me and has helped me use my voice on behalf of myself and others.

I hope you’re having a wonderful day. This green girl is so excited because I get to see @wickedmovie with some of the ladies in my family! The world is going to see history be made because of @marissa_edob and @cesilycollette in the role of Nessarose. We finally have the genuine representation we’ve been waiting for, for twenty one years. I hope that this is the beginning of conversations that need to take place with @wicked_musical and Broadway as a whole about theaters becoming a place of employment for all people. All Bodies deserve to be Broadway bodies. O
If you could meet a historical figure, who would it be and why?
If I could meet a historical figure it would be Judy Heumann. I know that I actually met her a year before she passed away, but I would love to time travel to the 70s and be part of the H. E. W. Sit in.
