This past Thursday I told my @boundlessbabesociety sister @alistroker  that I want to be the first Elphaba who is actually green I know that this dream will take a lot of hard work as all dreams do but if we as a community including our non disabled Allies continue to champion people in the disabled community we can change the world!
This is what my playbill bio would say: Ms. Marie Nicole Zimmerle is overjoyed to finally be playing Elphaba and bringing authentic representation of her community to the Wicked stage. Ms.  Zimmerle admits  that her journey of self-acceptance has been a rollercoaster ride, but she is excited to let the younger generations know that anything is possible

It feels official now

Hey I hope you had a good day. I wanted to stop by and say hi and share once more how excited I am to be joining the @frankdlantermanrc Board of directors in a few weeks! I know that I shared that I got my official acceptance letter a few days ago, but today I got a welcome email from the executive director. I am excited to share my knowledge that I’ve gained in all these  years of living with a disability,

I can’t wait

10  days till Rollettes Experience! I can’t wait to see everyone! Did you know that when the @rollettes_la  lets a team member go to venture on to other things Big things happen! This year we have an original teammate @alistroker coming back home for the first time since 2018
When Ali left she became the first Boundless Babe to grace a Broadway stage in 2015 in spring awakening and in 2019 she became a Tony Winner for her role in Oklahoma! The night of her win was a big win for the disability community, we began to feel like we would be taken seriously in any endeavor we undertook
Broadway and the world have a long way to go, In terms of giving our community our equal rights because accessibility doesn’t exist the way that it should.
I look forward to connecting with Ali and finding out her thoughts on the next steps to change and inclusivity 
