Yes I do

Do you see yourself as a leader?

Yes I do see myself as a leader. I believe that it was something that God wanted to grow in me, and so I believe that that is part of the reason why he made me the way he made me because he knew that I would have to lean on him an advocate for the things I needed and trust him for the things I needed. Leadership in my life has had it’s fun Parts as well, I consider myself a leader in the disability community because I am now connected with Dynamic women in the Rolettes and the Boundless Babe Society. I feel like I’ve talked about them Ad nauseam at this point but it is because they have become so important in my life and taught me how to carrying myself with a good sense of pride not the look at me I’m the best in the world kind but a pride that says I’m comfortable with who I am and the equipment I use is simply a part of me even though some people might see it as a big deal. I have so much more to learn in being a leader in both of the communities that I serve in the community of my church family and my faith and the community of Sisterhood that is made up of the disability community.

My plans for the day

What are you doing this evening?

It’s 107 in the morning and I just got into bed when I woke up in the morning and plan to get dressed have breakfast including coffee and then do the writing that I have intended to do in my notebook That way I can turn my full transformation story which is now called watch me: my full transformation story into a podcast episode/audiobook. I’ve always dreamed of writing a book but I don’t think that it will ever become a hard copy that’s why I love the fact that I have a podcast now. I also want to start writing down some of the questions that I have already gotten for my 4th-anniversary podcast episode, If you are reading this and you have questions that you want to ask please include them in the comments.

My perfect week

I would say that my ideal week would be one packed with lots of activities even though I am a person now who enjoys time at home and I’m not always meeting to go somewhere to be happy. However, my ideal week would consist of church on Sunday bible study on Thursday which is now my new Bible study day dance class on Tuesday and Boundless Babe Society on the last Thursday of the month. This question makes me miss the structure of Rollettes experience because it was filled with a lot of activities.

God’s part/ my part in changing me

Dear friends, you always followed my instructions when I was with you. And now that I am away, it is even more important. Work hard to show the results of your salvation, obeying God with deep reverence and fear. For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him. Do everything without complaining and arguing, so that no one can criticize you. Live clean, innocent lives as children of God, shining like bright lights in a world full of crooked and perverse people. Hold firmly to the word of life; then, on the day of Christ’s return, I will be proud that I did not run the race in vain and that my work was not useless. But I will rejoice even if I lose my life, pouring it out like a liquid offering to God, just like your faithful service is an offering to God. And I want all of you to share that joy. Yes, you should rejoice, and I will share your joy. Philippians 2:12‭-‬18 NLT

Paul doesn’t say…

1. Work for your salvation

2. Work toward your salvation

3. Work to keep your salvation

Our Salvation consists of three parts.

1, In the past you were Justified and saved from the penalty of sin.

2.In the presents you are being sanctified and saved from the power of sin.

3. In the future you will be glorified and saved from the presence of sin.

What does God want to work in US?

Relaxing

How do you relax?

This used to be really hard for me. I was that person who did not want to rest because I thought that I would be missing out on something so even though there were days where I was sick and miserable I would be sick in miserable around people instead of being miserable and comfortable in my room and doing what I needed to do taking a nap and taking care of myself. These days the way I relax is watching TV or listening to music and honestly I find writing relaxing especially since I speak most of my content instead of typing it. It makes this easier for me because it doesn’t take so long

What are you Living For?

For I know that as you pray for me and the Spirit of Jesus Christ helps me, this will lead to my deliverance. For I fully expect and hope that I will never be ashamed, but that I will continue to be bold for Christ, as I have been in the past. And I trust that my life will bring honor to Christ, whether I live or die. For to me, living means living for Christ, and dying is even better. But if I live, I can do more fruitful work for Christ. So I really don’t know which is better. I’m torn between two desires: I long to go and be with Christ, which would be far better for me. But for your sakes, it is better that I continue to live. Knowing this, I am convinced that I will remain alive so I can continue to help all of you grow and experience the joy of your faith. And when I come to you again, you will have even more reason to take pride in Christ Jesus because of what he is doing through me. Above all, you must live as citizens of heaven, conducting yourselves in a manner worthy of the Good News about Christ. Then, whether I come and see you again or only hear about you, I will know that you are standing together with one spirit and one purpose, fighting together for the faith, which is the Good News. Don’t be intimidated in any way by your enemies. This will be a sign to them that they are going to be destroyed, but that you are going to be saved, even by God himself. For you have been given not only the privilege of trusting in Christ but also the privilege of suffering for him. We are in this struggle together. You have seen my struggle in the past, and you know that I am still in the midst of it. Philippians 1:19‭-‬30 NLT
