My first book of 2022. I was honored to be in her first group of students in her course communication on Camera, as well as a member of her Facebook group #becomingamastercommunicatorthroughimperfectactiom for seven months
The most valuable lesson I learned is, if you want something, you have to ask for it. Great work Renee
Last night I finished this book. It is one woman’s life experience but it reflects the experiences of so many people Hulu live with conditions that can be termed disabilities. If you are someone who wants to know more about what people that need things that seem extra in this world go through on a daily basis read or listen to this book

The reality that.there are people that use equipment to get around in their daily life needs to become the norm in media, so much so that the person using the equipment is seeing as a person, and the equipment fades into the background.

I connected with a chance to Fly right away; it had my attention when Nat Beacon goes to her first wheelchair racing team practice because I used to participate in an event called The exceptional games.
I also know the feeling of having to stick up for yourself when told you can’t participate in something simply because of perception. This point in the book took me back to being exactly 13 years old, the age that Nat was when she joined the Broadway bounders.
Furthermore, I know what it feels like to show up somewhere and not be provided proper accessibility. In those instances, there is camaraderie and brainstorming that quickly needs to happen.
I also know the hopeful side of things where people that have helped me before want to help me so I won’t miss out, or they want to rethink the current routine of an Activity so that I can continue to participate.
At the heart of this book is the lesson that we should not judge anybody by their outside appearance that people that are quote-unquote different should not be afraid to speak up and ask for help I’m so glad that this book is out into the world, congratulations Ali and Stacy

Hey, I hope you’re having an awesome day I’m getting ready to record and publish episode 41 of encouragement notes.
I recently finished listening to the book share your stuff; I’ll go first by Laura Tremaine. The book is a selection of questions that we can use to deepen our relationships, as well as Laura’s personal stories surrounding each question.
In my podcast episode, I’m going to go over the questions with you and possibly turn the questions into blog posts with my answer to each question

I survived, I kissed dating Goodbye
Becoming a child of God and knowing in my soul that he loves me and died on the Cross to save me is something that is part of me.
I also carry the belief that people should not have sex before marriage if you are a Christian.
However, I also believe that when I came to my saving faith in Christ that I wanted to fit in and belong among the Christian teens that I knew. So when it came to doing highschool activities like going to dances, I did not think about asking someone older than me, who had lived more life and was a follower of Christ, how they navigated high school rights of passage.
I only knew that all of my friends were reading a book called I kissed dating goodbye, this was a book that was, without a doubt, The Trend of the ’90s, and I took it as scripture rather than opening my Bible.
So, in conclusion, I would encourage younger people who accept Jesus Christ as their savior to read your Bible and ask questions of older people than you in the faith because if something seems too trendy, it probably is.
I finished reading a book called Share your stuff, I’ll go first and I came up with this list inspired by chapter 1 called who are you.
I am
1. A follower of Christ
2. A daughter
3. A sister
4. A singer
5. A younger cousin
6. An older cousin
7. A niece
8. A lover of music and Theatre
9. I’m a great listener
10. I pray for people I love and those who don’t like me.
11. I don’t get why people, especially women, complain about getting older.
12. I use to complain if I wasn’t constantly on the go, but now I know how to be at peace when I’m home.
Book that I’m looking forward to:
