Jehovah Rohi Reveals

1. He provides

  • Everything we need
  • Restoration
  • For His Glory

2. God as shepherd means he protects.

3. God as our Shepherd means we can trust him.

  • The Lord has our Shepard is perfectly displayed in Jesus.

Saul replied, “You are not able to go out against this Philistine and fight him; you are only a young man, and he has been a warrior from his youth.” But David said to Saul, “Your servant has been keeping his father’s sheep. Two kinds of Fear

1. Immediate Danger

2. Imagined Danger

Two things to remember when fear keeps you up at night

1. God is more powerful than any enemy we will ever face

Elisha’s servant

“Don’t be afraid,” the prophet answered. “Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.”

2. God is with us

God’s promise to Moses

And God said, “I will be with you. And this will be the sign to you that it is I who have sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you will worship God on this mountain.”

1. Filter what goes into our minds

I will refuse to look at anything vile or vulgar

2. Replace your fearful thoughts with three things


1. Prayer

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

2. Scripture

Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.

3. Action

Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.

Mirror Meditation \prayer Exercise

Today I set a timer on my phone for five minutes and did a mirror meditation exercise that I was taught and asked to do as part of the #Becoming Challenge I participated in this past week.

I set my phone timer for five minutes and prayed that God would show me who I am in his eyes.

I know that to truly believe that I am the strong woman he created me to be, I will have to do this exercise more than once. As well as hang on to what he says about me in his word. The Bible. I recommend that you try this if you have time.
